Strength will serve you well in your physical practice.

There are benefits to being flexible and mobile.

Your capacity to endure, and then produce mass amounts of force in a short amount of time is useful.

However, the most important component in your physical practice is none of the above.

It is attention.

An athlete paying attention trains appropriately within their capacity, allowing them to make sustained strength gains.

They are less likely to injure themselves as they notice unfavourable deviations in their movement patterns relative to their flexibility and mobility.

If you are paying attention, you make the right decisions on the right day – whether it is to go long and endure, or short, explosive and powerful.

You should treat your attention during a physical practice as sacred and protect it at all costs.

Turn your phone on aeroplane mode – don’t scroll between sets. Engage with others when appropriate, but put your head down when it is time. Prior to work, think about what needs to be done and then execute.

Yes, there are benefits to being physically and physiologically competent.

But if you are not paying attention, you are missing the most valuable component to your progress.

What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about improving the well being and overall function of my members. I get an incredible sense of satisfaction when clients are able to both mentally and physically achieve new milestones. I specialize in Customizing wellness Programs for each individual based on proven assessment and the best practices of lifestyle to achieve optimal wellness.

What do you love most about coaching your members?
I love coaching people because of the incredible relationships with so many amazing people. It seems there are so many talented driven people. Then having the ability to further the other aspects of these people’s lives are incredibly fulfilling.

What is your athletic background?
Any notable accomplishments?
Football: 2 time all state in Florida at Bayshore high school in Bradenton, FL. Earned a Full scholarship to Division 1 FCS (1-AA) Liberty University and started 26 games for the 3 time Big South conference champions. Weightlifting: As a part of team Florida finished 3rd in the country at the AAU national championships in the 14-16 years old division in the 105kg weight class. As a CrossFit Athlete competed on 4 regional teams and also went to the games in 2016 as a part of The Crossfit Squad games team.

How did you end up as a CrossFit coach?
What path brought you here?
Walked into to a crossfit gym called The training Pit and loved it ever since. The community and environment was something I had missed as being a part of sports team my whole life.

Funny, interesting stories you’d like to tell?: Sleep is the most amazing thing ever. I love to cook, Garden, and always be working on some aspect of life. Whether it is studying, executing on the business side, Training clients, preparing great food, exercising or Spending time with my wife.
